Steve is a designer and illustrator based in London and is part of a team of animation directors at StudioAKA. He has worked on a wide variety of projects and still finds animation as fascinating as he did when he first watched Disney films as a kid. But then there are books… Steve says, ‘they don’t move and they don’t make a sound, yet they remain one of the finest ways to smuggle a story into our imagination. I’ve always been hooked on books and love the simple storytelling chemistry at work in picture books.’
Wherever you’re going, I’m going too.
Whatever you’re doing, I’m sticking with you.
It’s wonderful to have good friends to see you through the good times and the bad. But sometimes, friends can also be a bit… well… overbearing. This completely irresistible rhyming text by Smriti Halls is perfectly complemented by artwork from fantastic new picture book illustrator, Steve Small.
‘Deftly humorous… a lovely book to cuddle up with’ – The Guardian
‘This celebration of friendship has future classic stamped all over it.’ – Daily Mail
