About The Author:
Ross Welford is the award-winning author of Time Travelling With A Hamster, which was shortlisted for 14 of the country’s biggest children’s book prizes, including the Costa, the Blue Peter, the Branford Boase, and the Waterstones Prize. His latest book, The 1,000 Year Old Boy, is a heart-warming and unusual tale, inspired by Ross' penchant for time travel. It's hard to imagine living 1,000 years and never growing up, but The 1,000 Year Old Boy tells the story of Alfie Monk with Ross' trademark warmth, wit and cleverness. Prior to his work as a children's author, Ross was a journalist and television producer.
