About The Author:
Saviour Pirotta is an author and playwright. His first children's book was published in the late 1980s and he has since produced picture books, collections of myths and legends, middle grade novels and early readers. He particularly likes writing historical fiction and his latest books are set in Ancient Greece, the Golden Islamic Age and the Neolithic. He lived in London and Brighton for many years but now makes his home in the seaside town of Scarborough, in North Yorkshire. He says it\s the perfect home for an author, with lovely beaches, cafes to write in and the tastiest fish and chips in the world.
